How to Enter all Necessary Data when Importing a File

To import a file to our Route Planner and add important information, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your list is in Excel or CSV format, templates can be found in this user-guide.

    2. We recommend that the addresses you list will be as complete and accurate as possible. This will help in the geocoding process.
    Geocoding is the first step where we use Google Maps to validate an address and receive its precise coordinates. More info about geocoding can be found here.

  2. Add this data to your spreadsheet:
    Title – Customer name, store or any information that will help you identify this address.
    * Duplicate addresses may be entered as long as they have different titles.
    Address – The location of your visit that should be as detailed and accurate as possible.
    Territory – A geographical defined area that you can use to group a number of addresses.
    Service Time – The time spent in each location that will give a better picture of your route’s duration.

  3. If you need to enter more data such as Time Windows or Order Size, add these in separate columns.
